IMPROVEMENT REQUEST Character Name and Link: Shimesu Kagurazaka Improvement: Using Bakudō #9: Geki successfully. Thread Links: Karakura is the Reason Reasoning: Used a low level spell with full incantation to full effect. Extra Arguments: None. I woulda waited till I learned a few more spells, but since I was gonna modify my profile to change all the white coding, I thought I'd slide this one in real quick. =O

So... I know it is a #9 and you are AL-S, but you are going to attempt to learn it on your first attempt, in battle - without even examining how it works, having referenced a scroll, following the directions of a person who knows the technique or even simply having seen it before hand or anything else? I would DEARLY have liked to be the one you used this on - I would have cut you into pieces for such a poorly planned attempt.
However since I wasn't - I'll simply say this, you should at least outline how it works or the steps involved in using it, even it it is after the event as you attempt to duplicate the feat; simply stating the incantation and what it looks like is NOT sufficient, even for such a low ranking kidou.

The spell looked like a point and shoot to me, but alright. Scrap this.

It IS - but if you are looking to use a technique you need to at least know something about how to use it - not just the words.

If all you have to do is exert reiatsu and aim, what else besides the words do you need to know? He's allowed knowledge of the spell without the book, and is a member of the Kidōshū, so one can assume he's gotten the drop on the tech. The description of the technique should be on the same document as the incantation, so if he got the incantation from somewhere, he should be able to get a description of how it functions, too. I ain't arguin' for approval, I'm just sayin'. :/

Yes - I agree he probably would have access to the knowledge.... so where is that knowledge demonstrated? Thats what I am talking about. Even with something as simple as Shou you would at least state that you are gathering and compressing reiatsu at the finger tip then releasing it in a single burst
