((OOC: Most of my posts will be about the same level of detail and size and what you choose to use, however the first post is always important so if you are discouraged by the size don't be. If you find it TOO daunting just skip to the last three paragraphs, it includes the information you need to know where I am and what is happening so you can interact with me.

It was near the beginning of the Shōwa era a time in Japanese history dominated by the ruthless pursuit of the Japanese ultra-nationalist agenda, dominated by iron-fisted utilitarian policies and military activity - it was a time when Japan looked at the rest of the world with suspicion and contempt, where even their close Asian neighbors were not beyond being vilified for their racial inferiority.
Loki had arrived hours earlier in a busy city square, in the bright sun of mid afternoon the bustling town of Tokyo was one of the most thriving in any of the realms, certainly far more than the hollow was used to. He swung their head from side to side noting the flow of people so that he could walk amidst the gaps. The idea of consuming the passer-bys was whispered softly by some of the minds within Verlassen, yet Loki reprimanded them gently, 'Such weak souls would never sustain us, the moment's respite we obtain would be at the expense of their eternity.' Many of the minds within such as Samantha, who was the most combative were unhappy with this thought for it was a weak, peaceful one, not unlike they would expect from Jun the pacifist soul of a Shinto Priest.
In his Naga costume he had assumed the strange form with which he had been accustomed, neither Snake nor Gorilla it was a blending of the two, his clear gel encasing, within which was spun countless fine threads of brown reiatsu provided a veneer of mystery to the fifteen foot long cobra Adjuchas, standing at eight feet tall the gorilla looked to have been made from seemless crystal while a large reddy-brown cobra hood dominated the torso while a twelve foot long light brown snake tail protruded from the gorilla's rear. Making his was among the crowds was an easy matter despite his bulk for even without hurrying his speed was more than enough for the task.
The library of the Tokyo medical college had been easy enough to gain access to, contrary to what one might think it was actually more difficult to enter the Menos Forest than it was to plunder the human realm. He had taken his time reading through the tombs of knowledge, as always the quality of the work was extraordinary. Apparently a man called Emil Kraepelin had managed to classify numerous types of 'mental' illnesses; why when Loki had been counted amongst humankind it had been widely accepted that such individuals were possessed of evil spirits, indeed medicine was humanity's greatest asset.
However he never forgot to carefully paused intermittently in his studies to search for signs of reiatsu that might indicate that the hateful shinigami had come once more to hunt him - to 'cleanse his sins' by running him through with their blades; after all, he thought bitterly, he too was an 'evil spirit.'
He had been about to leave by opening a hole with Garganta when he noticed a dog lying in an awkward position in an alleyway across the path, something about the creature caught his attention and Loki moved towards it. The dog lay partially on it's side, obviously pregnant one of it's legs was badly bent. 'The bitch has a broken leg it seems.' Gertrude thought, she was among the oldest of the souls, both by when she had been born and by how old she had been when she had died - a farmer's wife she gave sage advice and provided a steady hand.
'Well, If we arent going to eat it.' Samantha began irritably before revealing a surprisingly compassionate side that even among the Verlassen had been a well kept secret, 'We might as well help the poor girl.' This from the soul most outspoken for her combative nature, her hatred of shinigami was without parallel among their numbers, for her treatment at their hands had been cruel beyond reason. Loki found himself moved by her desire to help the dog, it was a rare moment for Samantha to express anything other than her love for carnage her need for revenge, yet in the dog she had found something that struck a chord with her. Dimly within his mind Loki recalled the memory as if it was his own, alone in the fire Samantha cried out in loneliness and despair, her leg pinned under the wooden beam that had collapsed. It had not been long after that she had died, yet instead of being peacefully sent over to soul society by the shinigami who found her, she had been assailed – the trauma of her brutal treatment speeding her transformation into a hollow.
Their Gel had great healing power, though they had only ever used it on themselves it should work on others as well. Loki moved forwards carefully, though he needn't have bothered for none in this realm could see them. Raising their tail to their mouth, he bit down hard enough to release a thin trail of blood dropped down towards his hand, Loki concentrated on it, infusing within a small portion of his own reiatsu, as he did so the blood drew in the air around it ever so slightly, even with his hand immediately below the falling drop of blood, that he could barely notice the imperceptible movement of air as the gel began to form.
Yet below him the dog could suddenly see a faint crystal like bead suspended in the air as the droplet of gel landed on Loki's outstretched hand, to the dog which had no ability to sense the supernatural it would appear that the bead floated in mid-air. Since the Gel was made in the human realm it had been made from visible substances - barking at the strange object the dog tried to scramble away yet it's girth and injury prevented it, yet from the street the small bead was too small to notice and a passer-by yelled at the dog, no doubt annoyed by the animal's 'stupidity' at barking at nothing.
Reaching downwards too swiftly for the dog to react to Loki pushed the small bead within it's mouth and guided the bead of gel down into her body, through the lining of her throat and dissolving it into her blood. A few moments later the gel began to deposit at the site of the break and would have begun it's healing yet Loki grabbed her snout with one hand to keep the dog quiet while with his other hand he straightened the limb, waiting for the healing process to begin. As gel secreted itself into the area, making the bones align and a tiny layer of gel separating the broken halves as it replaced the damaged tissue with 'bone' made of gel. Nearly a full minute had passed yet the gel had yet to be replaced by bone! Though it could use it's leg freely and without pain, were he to let the animal free the dog's leg was still broken, should the Gel dissolve the animal would be left once again unable to move and in pain. "Damn it why wont it work." He snapped out loud in annoyance as he focused all his concentration on the task. His own wounds had healed completely in five seconds, not after a mere broken bone but after several feet of tail had been completely incinerated - reduced to ash.
Unknown to Loki the Gel would only speed up the healing process it did not heal of itself; it was a fact only the most skilled healer could have noticed, yet other than healing themselves Loki had never attempted to heal another. In their own wounds their healing had been so quick that he had attributed it directly to the gel, yet for the poor creature in front of him it would take much, much longer, perhaps a week at the current rate.
