Jinsei returned to reality only to be welcomed by the morning sun. He squinted as his eyes took time to adjust to the lighting. But even still the glare from the sun would cause him to shield his eyes wit his hand as he scanned Sokyoku Hill to see if any others had arrived. None. Not much had changed since he entered his inner world. Though the sun had shifted slightly, indicating he had been in his subconscious for no more than an hour or so. That meant he still had hours of training to go. But how would he proceed about his training now that he knew the name of his Zanpaktou. He felt it would be best to at least include some type of training with Yogoreta Biyo. However that would come later. For now Jin had to focus on properly executing Tetsuwa hi hyoji ni suru. The technique he had attempted to use during his spar with Yogoreta Biyo. Recollecting the results of it's trial Jin knew he had to rework it, so that his theory of using reiatsu to turn his skin into an armor to some degree would be true.
This process would be relatively easy given he was no longer preoccupied by anything else. This time however Jinsei gathered a much larger amount of reiatsu along the surface of his body, before binding it to his frame. Of course there was no way to actually know if the technique would actually work this time around, until he were to suffer physical damage. Knowing this Jinsei would lift Yogoreta Biyo from her position on the ground, unsheathing the Zanpaktou revealing it's onyx blade, that gleamed brightly under the sun's rays. He would bring the sharpened side to his arm, before taking a slice of his own flesh. The act was intended to be deeper, but his skin pushed the blade upwards, resulting in a thin cut comparable to the kind one would receive from an average knife.
Laying his Zanpaktou across his lap, Jin would work to interpret what he had witnessed. His intended depth for the cut was decreased due to the technique. But he had still been cut relatively easily. Because the technique itself worked he didn't intend to restart the process. He just needed a way to improve what he had already accomplished. From past training Jin knew that there were only a few ways to improve a technique like the one he was using. First would be the increase in reiatsu output. Which only served the purpose of increasing the capabilities of the technique. This Jinsei had already done. The second would be to compress what ever reiatsu he had already gathered. This would serve to strengthen the capabilities of the technique. At least that's the only theory he had on how to further his current form of Tetsu wa hi hyoji ni suru.
Following his theory, Jin felt for the reiatsu bonded to his frame. Once he felt it's flow he worked to pull it in closer to himself. If he were to put into words the experience, he would describe the process as being similar to flattening a sponge. It starts off with being normal. Then as you push down on it, it flattens until it cannot be compressed any more. Now that the process had been done, it was time to put it to the test. Once more he brought Yogoreta Biyo's razor edge to his arm attempting to cut himself about an inch above the first mark he had left. Jinsei felt the blade pass over his skin, however there was no sting or other indication that the blade had torn the upper most layer of flesh. Not even blood was shown. Meaning he succeeded in creating a proper Testu wa hi hyoji ni suru. Had Jinsei developed more control over his reiatsu, Jin would have been able to fortify his defenses more so.
