Other than that, he was still the calm and collected Sixth Division Captain that many knew. Very few knew the man well, save for at least his Lieutenant and immediate family. The only other person that could relate and understand him was the boy. Yes, that boy from that day on the Sokyokou Hill. Kurosaki Ichigo.

→ T[/color][/font]he noble man walked across the courtyard of the Kuchiki Manor. The gentle wind rushed through the air as Byakuya's black hair fluttered with the wind's will. Violet eyes glanced to the side as he watched the clouds aimlessly shift across the wide blue sky. The day was young still, and his duties as a Captain were rather light for the day. The Captain had decided to take a small portion of his time to ensure that everything was calm at the Kuchiki Manor.

→ S[/color][/font]tepping outside from from the courtyard and on the outskirts of the Kuchiki Manor, Byakuya stopped for a moment. His hands rested gently at his side as he paused to think. The presence he could sense approaching was rather familiar. One that he knew. What was that? Perhaps more than one? He recognized the other one vaguely to. Simply shrugging away the thought, he slowly sauntered away from the manor with his calm and collected face. It wouldn't surprise him if the approaching presences decided to engage in conversation.

Soifon had very little duty today, she was now walking around preparing for her training that she would have later that day, Most likely by her self of course. She almost never trained with anyone else, Save a few times with her Lieutenant who was not much help in her training, While yes he was a good shinigami, he just simply was not on par with Soifon, In any way at all. She could see off in the distance the Kuchiki Manor. She remembered always seeing that manor before Yourichi had left her, Abandoned her, Essentially made her stronger. She always wondered what was there.

Suddenly she felt the presence of someone, It seemed oddly familiar, but she was so unsure of who it could be. She decided that she would go and see who it could possibly be that she knows that would be in the Kuchiki Manor. Soifon was in no hurry to arrive, She swiftly walked towards the manor however, something seemed to compel her to hurry up and get there to see who it was that she was sensing. Suddenly there he was, his black hair fluttering in the wind, she could not quite remember who the man was, she had an idea of who he was, But was unsure if she was right, She calmly walked up to him as she said a few simple words, it came out in the form of a question. "You are Byakuya, Are you not?" She simply asked as she stood there, Her hands inter-twined in front of her as she stood there looking at him with her deep brown eyes, waiting for a response.

[/color][/font]t wasn't long before one of the presences made itself known. Byakuya who glanced over with violet eyes saw who had shown up. Taking in the figure with one glance before continuing on his saunter, Byakuya realized who it was. This was the Captain of the Second Division, including commander of the Stealth Force. Captain Soifon. Her voice made him stop in his tracks for a moment. She simply used his first name. He glanced over once again through his black bangs that hung across his face.

→ B[/color][/font]yakuya was taken back for a moment to his younger days when he knew someone else as commander and Captain of the Stealth Force. A certain woman that he wished not to name again. "Yes, that is correct Captain Soifon." Byakuya's voice was calm despite his displeasure with the way she addressed him. Arching an eyebrow slightly, Byakuya turned ever so slightly to confront the woman. "And what business might you have at the Kuchiki Manor?"

Soifon made her presence clear to Byakuya, She was not afraid of him, Nor was she worried about him. Soifon had always been confident that she is one of the best in Seireitei, There was little doubt in her mind that she was. She looked Byakuya straight in the eyes as she gave him a stern look of disdain, she was never to happy towards anyone else in the Gotei 13. "It is none of your business what i am doing here, All you simply need to know..Is that im here." She did not appreciate him acting as if she was not as important as him. If she had business in the Kuchiki Manor, Then she had business there. While yes he may be an important part of the manor, it is not like she would try to break in and do anything to anyone in the manor, the idea made her smirk.

[/color][/font]he petite Captain that stood before him held her disposition strongly. It was clear to him that the woman had garnered emotional or attitude instability. She seemed as heartless as himself now that he thought about it. Of course these cold exteriors the two Captains shared were merely facades. "Then perhaps you should take your business elsewhere. I have no time for such idle chat." The noble man was swift with his statement as he strode a bit past Soifon.

→ I[/color][/font]ndeed the stories he had were true. Especially from when he had last spoken with his former childhood...tormentor. Her personality was quite simple in a matter of fact. Straight to the point, efficient, deadly. All qualities that most Second Division Captains held...all save for that one woman. Her face appeared in his mind for a split moment as Byakuya stopped in his footsteps. His head glanced back to the Second Division Captain that stood idle.

She simply smirked as he waited for his reply to her cocky remark towards him, She was waiting with great impatience, that is when he suddenly spoke and said something about her taking her business elsewhere or something of the sort. She simply let her smirk grow a bit wider as he strode past her, she simply crossed her arms across her chest as she turned around to see him standing idle, looking at her as he glanced back. Why had he stopped? "I suggest you watch what you say, You do not scare me one bit." she stated boldly to him.

She meant business and was not going to budge, she knew the story's surrounding him, she just not care to take him or any one else in high regards when it comes to her strength and skill. Soifon was not afraid of anything, or anyone. Headstrong, that is how she has often been described, not afraid to back down, standing up for her self before anyone could even have the chance to try to do it for her. Soifon believes in strength and skill, two things she knows that she posses, and no one can take that from her, especially not this man before her.

[/color][/font]he woman suggested she had no fear. Hmph. What was going through her mind? Byakuya chose to speak no further words as he gazed coldly back at the Captain before him. She was adamant and perhaps a bit outspoken. Of course nobody in the Stealth Force was truly afraid. Afraid of your own death was to shirk from your duty. How interesting. Perhaps one day he'd take a few more of those books from the Kuchiki manor and read up on psychology. It was all quite an interesting subject. A few more moments passed before Byakuya believed sufficient time had passed.

→ T[/color][/font]he Sixth Division Captain spoke calmly as if Soifon's words were of little concern to him. No word or words could pierce the stone cold face of his. "I am not threatening you, or am I Captain? You should take violence elsewhere if that is your business." Byakuya brushed the thought of such trifle matters away from his thoughts. Captain Soifon was quite defensive and perhaps if not one of the more aggressive Captains of the Gotei 13. Her attitude did not really surprise him. Independence, arrogance, and skill all rolled into the position of authority and leadership. How very interesting.
