"What the hell kind of mission is this?"a rather annoyed tone of voice spoke, standing under some of the nearby trees was a tall and well built shinigami, his spiked silver hair was a dead give away as to who he was for any that knew him. It was Kenji Ondo of the ninth division, he stood there reading over the document he had been given earlier today it was the briefing of todays mission and to be quite honest it was an annoying one. He crumbled the paper up into a ball and tossed it over his shoulder, letting out a sigh the silver haired shinigami leaned against the tree behind him relaxing for a minute crossing his arms powerful arms over his broad chest. All the while he waited for his partner, it seemed that his squad didn't trust him enough to send him off on a mission alone. Normally he would be paired up with Shinra, but he was currently on vacation and when they went to look for him he mysteriously vanished, Kenji knew well that the lazy ass just found out before they got to him and he decided to run for the hills.
Kenji let out another sigh as he envied his comrade, while he was here on some half assed mission, he was out having the time of his life moving his head side to side he cracked his neck and relaxed his tense muscles. He didn't know who he had been paired up with, they just told him to rendevous with his teammate here in this area all he knew was that the other shinigami was sent in from squad five. Kenji looked around for any signs of the other shinigami, but so far nothing he shrugged reaching into his uniform he pulled out a candy bar not many people knew this but Kenji was addicted to sweets he had to eat sweets every once in a while otherwise he got in a really bad mood. Sort of like a drug addict, except his drug was any sort of sweets unwrapping his candy bar he took the first bite enjoying the mixture of caramel and chocolate chip in his mouth, "It's like a mouth orgasm!" he yelled out as he gulped down the chunk he had bitten off letting out a sigh of satisfaction. As he waited for the other shinigami he continued to eat his candy bar, all that was missing now was his JUMP he had left at home he was halfway done with it but because of this mission he had to leave it incomplete for now. |

As the man finished his second statement wisps of purple would alert him to the arrival of his new 'partner'. He utilized shunpo to appear a few feet past the shinigami looking back over his shoulder to see him. Azure orbs pierced the man as he consumed his delicious chocolaty treat. A familiar face one Saito remembered seeing not to long ago in the training grounds, Kenji Ondo.
Saito was practicing calligraphy when he was abruptly called out to catch up on his missions which had taken the back burner to his hobbies and training as of late. He'd readied himself and got to work leaving his items where they stood. His brush would probably be unusable by the time he got back, a thought that almost made him innately sigh. [purple]" Well, Kenji I guess we meet again."[/purple]
A brisk wind would tell of their meeting as the scarfed shinigami turned to face his comrade. Standing in front of him for a few seconds he nodded in approval before beginning again.[purple] "What exactly does the mission entail?"[/purple] Although he'd accepted the mission he didn't really look into the specifics. Saito's plan was to get in and get out as quickly as possible.

Kenji heard a familiar voice right after he had gulped down the first chunk of the chocolate bar, he looked over only to get a brief glimpse of the shinigami as he vanished in a blurr of speed. Kenji's silver waved about as the figured dashed past him, well at least he was fast he continued to eat his chocolate bar not really impressed by his partner then he heard the shinigami mention his name. The voice was indeed familiar, he looked up only to see Saito he couldn't help but smirk as he took the last bite of his bar eating it all, crumbling the plastic wrap he slipped it into his sleeve. "Save the planet..." he would say to Saito, though moments ago he had tossed a crumbled up ball of paper over his shoulder ironically enough that same paper would roll between the two. Kenji looked at the ball of papaer following it with his eyes as it rolled across the ground, he ignored the paper pretending to not have noticed as he cleared his throat.
Pushing himself off the tree where he was relaxing, the shinigami dusted his back off he then nodded at Saito, "Indeed at least they paired me up with someone whose battle style I know, so I know you can handle yourself"he would pause for a moment raising his hand up as if to signal Saito to wait. Using his tounge he dug out some of the caramel that had gotten stuck on his gums, once he got it out swallowing it back down he let out a sigh as he looked back down at Saito lowering his hand when he did so. "So basically, the mission says that we are to break into some old guys house. Because thanks to intelligence from the guys in the second division, they have discovered that he is supplying Bounto with robotic technology of sorts, Soul Society fears it is to be used against us. So me and you have to go in there crack some skulls and mess up some computers, easy no?"he would say with a chuckle as he gave Saito a thumbs up with both hands then turned and started walking away. "Come on the old guys house is about five minutes from here!" he yelled back signaling with his hand for Saito to follow along. |

It seemed Saito was a magnet for assholes as the his newly discovered partner answered his question with a witty remark. It was something Saito could see himself saying. It seemed the man was at least somewhat happy with being paired up with the purple haired shinigami as he claimed happiness at the thought of traveling with one who was familiar. Saito nodded in agreeing for the most part to that statement.
Just then something in the mans mouth took all his attention as he raised his hand at Saito going into full concentration on what ever it was. Saito simply looked forward and shook his head at the mans lackluster attitude. Once he got into the mission briefing Saito was actually a bit excited.
A "battle go ahead" and an interesting one at that. He hadn't done a mission in quite awhile thanks to his focus on his personal training and it would turn out that his out of retirement mission would be to potentially go against a bounto, interesting would probably be an understatement in this situation. He gave no facial notice to Kenji that he had even heard him as the man finished the briefing. Instead he turned around nodding as he retorted, [purple]"Same old missions, then?"[/purple]
Kenji would then take the lead as Saito followed him readying himself for the probable battle ahead. Why they were walking he would never know but taking in the unnecessary air wasn't to bad.

The duo walked on with Kenji keeping his pace at one step ahead of Saito, so that he may lead the way but indeed why where they walking? A good question, but one Kenji didn't let bother him very much he just continued to walk with his hands down at his side his hazel eyes looking forward as he pushed through some bushes and made his way around some trees. Finally Kenji stoppd standing now in front of a very tall and long wall made of pure steel, he touched it to confirm that it was steel, going as far as to lightly knock on it the sound of the solid steel being knocked was loud and clear. He turned to face Saito "Indeed...this is pure steel man"he would state the obvious with a serious look on his face, little did both of them known that a camera had already zoomed in the duo.
But no alarms went off, and with no evident action that they had been caught it would only bge natural for the two shinigami to proceed with their little mission without too much worry. Kenji slipped his hands into his sleeve, as he crossed over his chest and under the cloth of his uniform looking back at the tall wall he stood there as if thinking of a way to get around, only hoping Saito was doing the same. "We could jump over, but that would be too reckless...Any ideas?" he would ask looking over in Saito's direction wondering what he had managed to cook up in that head of his, hopefully a better option then them having to jump over this damn thing. |

As his partner continued to analyze the perplexing situation and noted it would be risky to simply go over the edge Saito couldn't help but to reply. [purple]" So showing up to his front door wasn't a risky plan?" The purple haired shinigami's glazed eyes gave a stern look over toward Kenji for his remark. In the end it wouldn't really be smart to "play it safe"[/purple] seeing as they probably screwed that up already by just walking up to the mans place of business. For all they knew there could be spies they didn't have the ability to detect watching them right now.
Saito shook his head and folded his arm not giving any useful information to his colleague. Instead looked from the door to the top of the wall and shrugged. He had a feeling he knew what they would end up doing.
