Okay so iwas wondering if I could use the same thread for training my zanpaktou mastery and use the same thread to rank up.
Like can I use the same thread where I go from
Practioner to Master and also use it for AL-A to AL-S

Whether you go from AL-A to AL-S is dependent on your character's skill. Even if you make a training thread solely for the purpose of 'training', the only way you're gonna rank up is by improving all your other stuff anyways.
Think of your masteries as an indicator of your character's strength. Increasing those masteries also mean your character is getting stronger.
Increasing them enough and just training with others and stuff will eventually allow you to level up should you request it.
So in a way, just by training your masteries, you're already training to go from AL-A to AL-S in your case.
but to actually answer your question, yes you could. Because grading is done by the amount of work you put in altogether. They don't grade threads separately.
When you feel your character has done enough to deserve a rank up, you request it and show them the threads in which you've trained your character.

If you make a reeeeeeeaally good thread, it IS possible. But Fyi, I doubt you'll go from practioner to master in a single training thread.

in order to increase ranks you have to train ALL of your stuff, this includes such things as kido, zanjutsu, hakudo, ho-ho, and have some battles with other people besides npcs. the amount you need to train increases from rank to rank so its vitually impossible to do it all in one thread.
But to answer you question, yes. If that thread is deemed the last one you would need to gain ranks.
