Human Transmutation. The alchemists have a taboo against it, and for good reason. After Edward sacrificed his arm and leg to bring back his brother Alphonse, the two didn't realize what they had let loose. In a different part of Amestris, the country ruled by the Fuhrer King Bradley, another gate opened. This gate pulled beings from the other side, a place similar to Amestris in geography, and brought them to the world of Amestris. Rather than pull a few unfortunate people, it pulled out an entire continent, merging with Amestris to create a multitude of new places. It also brought their problems as well. Wolves. They had been extinct for hundreds of years, and now they were back, and taking human form. Those who were smart melded their way into the human stream, while those who did not were shot. Of course, the wolves simply began slaughtering everything in sight, believing that these new humans would kill them off just as those on the other side of the gate had. After witnessing the power of the wolves and the seriousness of what had happened, King Bradley issued an execution order for any and all wolves, stating a bounty for any caught alive for experimentation. And so it begins anew, the endless cycle of wolves killing humans, and humans killing wolves. The wolves, realizing they are outnumbered, begin to form packs and hide amongst the humans, wishing to stay alive. So war has broken out, between wolves and man. This time, however, something is different. No one can place it, but all know it may be the last war. A Howl to Arms is all that keeps one race alive over the other. Who will win?
