"So, Kagurazaka - Senpai, what are you going to attempt to teach me today?" The silver haired Shinigami asked with her arms firmly crossed over her chest. A lick of sarcasm laced her speech. Sahara waited idly for Shimesu's instructions or well today's to do list. The pair were battle ready in the Kido Corps training grounds which was outfitted with the standard training equipment. Bright and early the time was nothing more than six past dusk and Sahara, as always, was right on time.
The two Shinigami started training together just shortly before. She found Shimesu's Kido prowess so adept and efficient she couldn't help but want training. What went from one day became a mutual relationship of teacher and student.
Though
Sahara refused to admit his superiority. In fact even saying the word refused was false as she never even suspected him of being stronger. Better in the sense of Kido but Sahara hadn't deemed him better than her in whole.
"So?"

Early morning and late night Kidō training was something Shimesu did often, but since Sahara came onto the scene, it became the norm. Everyday, she either wanted to wake up early, or stay up late; and the funny thing was, most of the time, she preferred just watching the androgynous boy practice spells. He taught her three in the past few days they've been together, and those three were the only three you could say she wanted to learn. A yawn escaped the sitting Shinigami as his eyes cut over to the new arrival. She was on time, but what was truly surprising was the fact that Shimesu was there to meet her. He never made it to anything on time -- let alone early -- as if it were his calling to be fashionably late. Sahara was another exception, in that sense, seeing as she was able to get Shimesu to keep his word. Perhaps it was his vulnerability that caused him to spill out of the circle he's been going in for over nineteen years. Loneliness was no joke when it affected one's core being.
His long, drawn-out yawn would end in a sigh as he stared at his busty 'apprentice.' It gave him a strange feeling using that term since he was practically just learning spells himself, but if she referred to him as such, willingly, then there wasn't much he could do about it. "I think the question is: what are you going to attempt yourself,"
[/b] he retorted as he propped himself up onto his feet, turning his body so his front was facing the girl. He stared at her for a while longer, losing himself in thought, still half asleep. Notions of his sister began to come to him, transforming Sahara's silhouette into the young girl he once used to spend all this time with. He hadn't been around anyone this much since then. After realizing what was happening, he snapped back to his senses, turning his back to his kōhai in order to avoid the touchy subject in his mind. "I bet you didn't even practice any spells on your own, last night, like I told you to."[/b] He quickly steered away from the awkward moment, continuing to try and hide the emotion that seeped through his guard just a few seconds ago. When he had it under control, he looked over to his right at an assortment of training dummies posted a few feet away from the training ground's wall, thinking about what the two of them should do with the rest of their day. His usual demeanor still hadn't kicked in. It was probably better that way. Who wanted to deal with the tomfoolery of an ass so soon after sunrise?[/justify][/blockquote][/blockquote]

She smirked; Sahara didn't know exactly what she wanted to attempt to do. She had watched Shimesu perform a numerous quantity of spells all of which appealed to her. She was looking awfully hard at the beloved Kyokko. It was a well placed spell and also very handy in any and all situations. She couldn't believe that she didn't inquire about it in the Academy.
No matter.
The busy female placed her hand on her hip and looked around the area. Her vision as blurred as usual. At least it wasn't getting any worse anymore like it did when she attained and gained partial mastery over her Shikai. It had been awhile since Sahara had started to go blind. The unfortunate cataract that was building in her eye all began when she first acquired her Zanpaktou and had gotten worse ever since.
Even though of her disadvantage she never let it hinder her nor used it as a crutch. Heck, she never even let anyone know. To everyone else her vision was just as good as everyone else's, she made up for where it lacked and was very efficient at it. She hadn't told Shimesu yet, and really why should she? She didn't really expect for this to be a long term relationship. She just wanted to learn some Kido and get out, more importantly-
"I bet you didn't even practice any spells on your own, last night, like I told you to."
"Hmm?" Sahara's expression grew sort of sour. Her lips formed a frown and her eyebrows tilted inward. "Heh, Uh.. Shimesu, Senpai. You didn't actually think I actually saw you as a superior? No offense but I've never seen you as a superior to me. Yes, your Kido is more advanced then mines but that is about it." Sahara sighed, maybe she had been too harsh. She thought for a split second and spoke again, "You've never proven it to me." She finished hoping she got her point across, "So let's try to keep the orders to a minimum and move on with some Kido training." She said in the most sincere and as professional as she possibly could. Her words held no sort of sarcasm nor so sort of disrespect. It was purely professionalism and how she felt.
Hopefully they could move on now and she could learn Kyokko.

Shimesu grinned, turning his head forward again to conceal his smile. "You really cut me deep, there," he said in a distressed tone, dropping his head, playing as if he were affected by what she said. The girl's sharp tongue had actually got him in the mood to officially start his day off right with his ambiguous nature. He could relate to part of her speech, however. Concealing his reiatsu to that of a Shinigami fresh out of the academy, it was probably a given that the silver-haired girl would think the way she did about his overall prowess. She was still, nonetheless, like the rest of Seireitei's population, not yet knowing of Shimesu's true nature, though she was further than most.
"Sounds to me like you're just trying to defend yourself 'cause you didn't do your 'homework,' Ginzu," Shimesu articulated in his feminine tone as he turned toward the girl, his signature grin vibrantly on display. "What spell did you say you wanted to learn again? Kyokko, right," he inquired, standing with his hands in his sleeves.
"It's a simple technique, really. All you have to do is channel your reiatsu into and over what you want the spell to effect, while reciting the spirit chant, and the spell takes over from there. I'll demonstrate..."
Reaching across his body with his right hand, the boy unsheathed his Zanpakutō, holding the wakizashi out in front of him as he let his reiatsu spill into and around the weapon. "Bakudō no Nijūroku: Kyokko," he mused as a veil of bright light engulfed the weapon, seeming to have bent the very dimensional fabric over it as it crawled up from the base of the hilt to the tip of the blade. Curving and folding into nothing, it looked as if it really was a technique that had dimension-altering properties. Even the presence of the weapon seemed to have disappeared, albeit Shimesu's hand still suggesting he was clutching something. "It's easier to practice it on yourself, first, to bypass having to put your reiatsu into something. Give it a try," the enigmatic Shinigami alleged, lowering his invisible weapon down to his side.
