He sat there cross-legged, his back poised straight and his eyes closed shut. His hands lied calmly in his lap as he focused on nothing but silence and the stillness of his mind, the sun's beautiful rays rebounding off of the boy's golden locks. Sitting in the middle of the training grounds, a preferable distance in front of a few practice dummies, he came with a few Kidou spells stored in mind to do what he always did. To train is what you'd automatically assume, however, his motive was quite different. He not only showed up in order to improve his skills, but the training grounds proved to be a nice place to meet some... out of the ordinary people. It's almost as if you could say that he showed up in hopes of finding someone to interact with and that the growth of his strength was just an outcome. No friends, just greater skill. What type of training grounds was he on?!
Anyone who knew his background would automatically tell that he didn't come to this very place in order to practice. Like the Kidoushuu didn't have a training grounds of their own -- and probably one much more accommodating to the common Kidou user. Not one person who stepped foot on the training grounds, today, knew that the androgynous boy wasn't even apart of one of the thirteen divisions. Any frequent trainers just knew the only place they saw him, Kagurazaka Shimesu, was here. It was as if he disappeared as soon as he left.
A small smirk danced on the boy's lips before he opened his eyes, fixating his brilliant, jade orbs on the multiple targets ahead of him. He raised his left arm toward a dummy to the far left, silently muttering to himself as he extended his index finger.
"Hadou no Yon: Byakurai."
As he spoke, energy began to build at the tip of his finger, illuminating the phalange in a bright blue aura. An eruption of pale blue reiatsu was released from the tip, kicking the boy's shoulder-length tresses behind his back as it sped toward the intended target, singeing a hole straight through the torso of the dummy. The blonde boy paused for a moment to further analyze his action. Byakurai wasn't a particularly hard spell to learn, nor was it hard to execute, however, Shimesu knew that studying a Kidou inside out was always the best way to enhance its performance. He knew that there was a way one could push a spell far beyond its potential. He's seen it done one-too-many-times before.
He took note of its reiatsu signature, its feel, and its maximum power when used when the full spell was cited. All tools that'd help him understand the art of Kidou more than he did prior to; its beauty and its destructive side. After acknowledging the points of the first Byakurai, the boy did it twice more, switching hands, attempting to add a little more power to each one he did -- the third being juiced more than both the first and the second. Bringing his arm back down, he let out a sigh of relieve as he turned to his left.
Someone was approaching...

The blond haired Shinigami was making his way towards the Training Grounds. For him, training was a necessitate in survival. He was part of a division where Kido techniques weren't permitted thus he needed to focus on his other skills such as his ability to handle his Zanpakuto, his hand to hand combat skills and last but not least the area in which he hoped to master someday soon, his Flash Stepping ability. Of course this would take years to accomplish based off his studies. He wanted to start his training as soon as possible. Of course, despite being an unofficial requirement for him to train often, he wasn't much of a fan of this method improving his skills. He preferred improving himself by fighting against others. Unfortunately he could not simply ask someone to fight him or go to the world of the living and attack a wandering Hollow, that would be quite idiotic of him considering the fact that he had graduated quite recently. He was surprised at the amount of thinking he put into this, normally he would have just entered the world of the living with permission from his Captain of course and began hunting these devil-like creatures.
The fact that he had graduated only recently meant that he was the weakest of the weakest, the lowest of the lowest within his division and he needed to change that rapidly. He had not met his Captain yet, Kenpachi Zaraki but he hoped to meet him soon enough to meet the one that he would take orders from. He had somewhat of respect for this authority figure but he was sure that one day he would surpass this man and take over this division himself, that day was far from now but it would arrive he was sure of it. The difference between Kenpachi and Cloud were simple, he would one day find out the name of his sword something that he did not think Zaraki would ever be able to accomplish. But the though of him reaching that height made him shiver through fear, Kenpachi had the strength of a Captain without even achieving Bankai if he were to achieve that ability he would surely become the strongest of all captains... or so he assumed. He did look towards Kenpachi as one of the strongest Shinigami's to have ever stepped into this world.
He would snap out of his thoughts as his eyes opened themselves from a long reverie. Looking at his surroundings he realized he was approaching the Training Grounds faster and faster. He managed to hear the voice of another being from the words spoken he easily recognized the fact that it was a Kido. He wasn't knowledgeable on this method of fighting but when he heard spells like this it was almost guaranteed to be a Kido. Already this person had entered his list of dislike but maybe depending on his personality this sudden one sided hatred would change into a more friendly like relationship. He did not fasten his paste to reach the one who executed this spell. In fact he wasn't to eager to meet him, the only time his nice and polite nature would diverge was when meeting people who fought through the use of Kido. Unless they had a personality that overcame this trait he would usually be rude towards them.
He would finally arrive in the area and his presence could easily be detected. He did not control his spiritual pressure and despite it being low it could easily be detected. Upon arrival the sight of a dummy with holes in its body would confirm his assumption that the spiritual being had been using Kido. Looking towards the one responsible he would immediately assume this person as a female despite its actual gender. Paying close attention he would quickly guess that she was a member of the Gotei 13 other than that of the Eleventh Division of course. "Why do you train on such a pathetic method of fighting when you could be enhancing your skill with that Zanpakuto of yours." He somewhat realized the fact that the female was stronger than him but he was never one to fear those who used Kido.

An interesting choice of words, the boy thought of the man after he spoke. A diminutive smile formed on his lips as his eyes met the man's dull gray. He could tell he was a rookie, and judging by his close-minded question, one of the eleventh division. It was no secret that all of them were conditioned to despise Kidou. Their attitude may have been primordial, but it was amusing, to say the least, how so many men can be brainwashed by the most barbaric of beings.
Shimesu looked down at his short Zanpakutou. Oh yeah, that's right. He did bring it along with him, didn't he? He looked up at the man once more, his luminous, jade orbs locking with the newcomer's drab gray. "I don't know. Maybe because I have no need to," he replied to the man in his feminine tone. His play of words carried a rather sarcastic undertone that blew past the oblivious and bemused the attentive. He wanted to see how this supposed juuichibantai member would respond to such a quip.
He shifted in his position, perking his back, seeming to study the blonde-haired man from the inside out. Would he snatch the bait of Shimesu's suppressed reiatsu and challenge him to a spar, or would he prove to be smarter than to believe everything was as they seemed on the outside? The ebony boy leaned back, catching himself with his hands, using his arms to prop him up as he stretched his legs out in front of him. It was funny how someone such as him could tell him that his main method of fighting was pathetic. He was hoping the newcomer chose to spar because he had many ways to prove that Kidou was a deadly weapon, especially when the caster was skilled enough to use it in conjunction with the other arts.

Cloud listened closely as the female spoke once more "I don't know. Maybe because I have no need to," He easily recognized the cockiness in his tone. This person was intentionally trying to get him to challenge her, or at least that's what he guessed. The blond haired Shinigami was no fool, entering a spar with no knowledge on your opponent was quite risky. Furthermore he had graduated from the Shinigami academy not even a month ago so chances were that she was far stronger than he currently was.
"I've never been afraid to prove myself in battle even to those who exceed my one skills. I'm ready to lose but it won't be easily. If you think you're so strong then prove yourself, face me, battle me. Even ignoring the name of my Zanpakuto I'm sure I could land a great deal of damage to you... possibly defeat you too." Cloud said and the thought of fighting made a grin appear on his face, he was the stereotypical Eleventh Division member but he had his differences, he had his fair share of characteristics that made him seem different than all those other members of the division. He landed his right arm on the hilt of his sword which lied on his side.
He lifted it only a bit but not fully, truly tempted to get a fight on the road. He wasn't the greatest fighter, hell if this person had something like Shikai he was most likely done for. But he knew that She wouldn't waste Shikai on such a low Shinigami. He did not know much of her position but he heavily imagined that she was stronger than him for he had only recently graduated, he wasn't too experienced in terms of battling. He would wait and see how things would go.

Another figure had found its way to the scene these two were creating. He made his way toward them purple hair almost seeming to glisten in the rays of the sun. The young shinigami walked with near perfect posture making his prideful appearance known to those who didn't know him. His shikakusho swayed behind him with his scarf as walked toward the two analyzing the exactly what was going on. His gaze quickly went from one man to the other and with that he could tell they were definitely not from the same division. One was sported the rugged tough guy demeanor of the eleventh squad while the other was just...too short to follow suit.
Stopping before the two shinigami Saito caused them to form a triangle. One hand laid idly beside him and the other rested its forearm on the hilt of his Katana. Not for battle purposes however, it was simply a mannerism of the young shinigami. By this time they would have no doubt taken notice of the Purple haired nuisance hopefully responding in kind. In truth the boy stumbled onto the training grounds as a detour. Originally the shinigami was going back to the Calligraphy stock to find a brush he'd left there from earlier shenanigans. In the end Saito resolved to try and get some training done on the way there. Luckily for him there were people already there.
One in particular did amuse him, however. One of them was so - feminine. Was it purposefully? He reminded him of Ayasegawa-San, however to Saito at least it was apparent that the boy was in fact...A boy. Little did the foreign shinigami know he was a perfect mesh of both of the people before him. One was of the Kidou Corps and the other the complete opposite, the Specialized Combat Division. They were destined to dislike each others fighting styles while Saito incorporated the mix of the two within him. Either way it seemed the two were going to have a nice little spar and Saito hoped to join them. He had not faced off against another shinigami in a good while and hollow were getting a bit boring to say the least.
[Purple]"My, my feisty shinigami. How quickly pride can escalate a situation."[/purple]
In reality the snappy statement applied to almost every shinigami in the Gotei. All shinigami seemed to be filled with this neanderthalic pride or resolve. It's what made them ready to throw their lives away at a moments notice, or hide their true feelings and powers from others. That feeling of superiority is what made the Gotei into what it is today.

The boy snickered at the blonde man's retort. So much ruckus off of a measly ten words of his. It seemed his natural tone had conceded the bigger picture... well, maybe not. He merely lead the Shinigami to believe that is what he wanted, however, he expected many different outcomes. The man's choosing of this particular one just helped him gain a little more insight on who he was dealing with; the average juuichibantai member. He couldn't say it for sure when he had first arrived, but his subsequent response revealed it all.
"Oh?", the boy asked, raising an eyebrow at the person before him. His smile grew into a cheeky grin, everything being used to hold back laughter. "Sure about that? I doubt a nameless blade would be able to stop Kyougien." It was undoubtedly in the back of the man's mind that the androgynous boy had Shikai, so he threw in the name of his blade in order to entertain that thought. However, his words were true. Judging by the read he got on the man's power, there was no doubt in his mind that Kyougien would dice this Shinigami's Zanpakutou up. It never occurred to people that there were ways a Zanpakutou could break easily. They were seen as indestructible for the fact that they were the physical manifestations of one's resolve, and they were quite sturdy, too, but that's just what they were -- 'physical manifestations.' The Zanpakutou's true entity lied within the Shinigami. There may have been no way of breaking that, but the Shinigami's weapon, dubbed Zanpakutou, weren't impossible to break.
The boy's satisfying gaze would go from one person to the next as another being approached. This one, about average height with hair clad in purple, sited himself where the three would create a triangle out of their positions. It was nice to see someone else had a sense of humor, the purple-haired one coming equipped with his own witty remark to the matter at hand. It seemed another peculiar being was on the scene.
The boy leaned forward into a sitting position, raising his arms into a stretch, revealing the slim, gold bracelets he wore as the sleeves of his shihakushou began creeping down his arms; two around his left wrist, three around his right. He energetically swung them back down, preparing to hop back into his Kidou practice. Taking another glance at the two men, he spoke once more.
"Eh, why don't you spar against..."
In the end, it seemed he wouldn't be fighting. It was just like him to lead a horse to water only to turn back around without letting it take a sip. The boy left his sentence open-ended, taking it that the new arrival knew to insert his name there. He didn't know either of the Shinigami's names, but that'd all fall into place when and if they were meant to.

The boy would listen as the female continued speaking stating that his nameless sword would not be able to beat his own. He was right in thinking that she had a Shikai but that did not matter. Despite her possible experience that exceeds his, she was too quick to assume that her shikai would be able to defeat him. He might not be as experienced as her but getting defeated wasn't an easy task, especially with a person like him who would not stop fighting until his opponent rendered him unconscious. He grinned as he spoke and was ready to reply to her statement until another person would arrive to the scene. This one however was a male and was quite laid back, Cloud was giving quite the first impression. To them he was probably just another member of the Eleventh Division.
If they would let themselves be satisfied with this judgment then so be it. He wasn't truly interested in the male Shinigami, and would not be satisfied until he proved himself to the female, no matter what the cost. Sadly, she wasn't too interested in him and looked as if she would go back to her training. She then stated that he could spar against-- leaving the ending open evidently intending for the male to answer that. He did not look towards the Third Shinigami and instead spoke to her once more, this time with a more lenient tone, one that intended for her to get irritated.
"You know us members of the Eleventh Division might be easy to figure out but I just realized same goes for you. You're afraid aren't you, despite the fact that you might know the name of your Zanpakuto you STILL think you're not strong enough to beat someone from my division. I guess I can't blame you, a female would never be able to defeat me especially one who uses Kido!"
He did not deny the abilities of female it was just his intention to get her angered. Little did he know that she was a male in reality and the fact that he called her a female would most likely get her angered. Cloud ignored many facts about him, he did not know he was part of the Kido Corps and this was probably for the best or he would have a bigger distaste for him. Still the other male was ignored however it was only a matter of time before he made his opinion on this matter heard.

Saito was now extremely interested in the two shinigami before him. The more the spoke the funnier they became. The cocky demeanor of the feminine boy only served to fuel the flame of the other, so much so that anyone could tell that he was just itching to fight. He didn't feel like going along with the way the feminine one was trying to push him on the man he was going to fight before but at the same time didn't really care. The purple haired shinigami was about to open his mouth with a nice witty quip however before he could the other shinigami made quite the fool of himself.
In an attempt to aggravate the feminine shinigami the other snapped back at him...Or her as he thought. He pulled on the fact that he thought the boy was actually a girl and at this point if Saito wasn't his calm usual self would have burst out laughing. That was the most amusing thing he'd seen all day. Now he was definitely happy he stopped by the training grounds today. The painfully embarrassing moment passed in an eternity as Saito put his own two cents in. His hand raised and a finger tugged on his scarf as to uncover his mouth before he began talking.
[purple]" As much as I love a good fight I don't like other peoples problems being pushed upon me. Plus it would seem you've baffled him with your looks."[/purple]
Saito continued standing not knowing exactly what was going on. It was obvious the 'tough guy' wanted to fight the feminine one not Saito and the Purple Katana wasn't one to go where not wanted. He highy doubted the mans remark about the other shinigami being a female and to weak to beat him with solely kido would hit its mark but he was sure a remark would be made on the subject. The pride of Soul Reapers. It was nice. All of this just for a spar and the funny part was no one had even yet exchanged names.

" Hey bois, " Matsumoto's voice carried over to the training area she was walking toward; She had just gotten out of her Lieutenant duties just in time to hopefully get a bit of sparing in. " I think I saw the cute gurl over here? Oh yup I was right again. " She said to herself, rushing over to the open field were Matsumoto witnessed three young Shinigami beginning to spar. Rangiku-nii had just gotten away from her Taichou just long enough to see these three spar. Matsumoto poked her head around a large tree. Her face coming to view as light hit what was once concealed by the large oak's shadow.
" Could you guys use one more? " She said waving her one hand getting the two boys and one gurls attention; not yet resorting to showing off her large breasts. That was her last resort technique. Rangiku flash stepped over to wear the darkskinned gurl was standing. " Hai! I'm Rangiku-nii! Who are you gurly? " She said with a large smile.

[[Um... I heard Guy was MIA, so post in order as if he weren't here. He's free to join the thread again whenever he returns.]]
"Persistent, aren't you," the feminine male snickered at the ivory blonde's endeavor, nothing of which he had said showing signs of affect on the young male. Usually, being called a female riled the boy, but in this case, he was able to keep his composure while the other Shinigami falsely bashed on him. Despite all of the facts that he thought were true, the only truth he spoke was in the fact that he, and most of the other juuichibantai members, were predictable as hell. From the warmonger behavior to the simplest things a being of reason could do, most of them fell a few short -- some even more -- than others. The way the man got caught up in Shimesu's web so easily was apparent evidence. It was amusing how he dug his own grave by voicing his chauvinistic opinion aloud. He'd be lucky if all of the women in the area didn't jump on him for that.
And then the purple-haired one spoke out. He didn't give a name, but his statement was entertaining, to say the least. It seemed more important to him to express how he felt the gender-twisted male's appearance bemused the eleventh division guy. Shimesu chuckled at his sarcasm -- the man's tongue sort of reminding him of his own. It was interesting that in all of his years as a Shinigami, he's never once came in contact with another that could relate to him. He didn't think it possible for someone to go about things in a similar manner, which was failing to weigh situations as heavy as others did. It felt as if the last person with the tolerance to deal with his demeanor was his mother. He was pretty sure his late sister, Jin, might have, too, had she been alive, however, her death was the root of the conduct he had adapted quite well to.
"Eh? He's not a problem of mine," the boy denied. "I'm just in the middle of something else, that's all."
He rose an index finger, flaunting it in the air as he replied, referring to his Kidou training just moments before the two had shown up. It wasn't long before an overly ecstatic 'Hey!' reached the trio. Glancing over at the new arrival, Shimesu saw his former fukutaichou, Matsumoto Rangiku. Where she all of a sudden appeared from was a mystery, but seeing as she was there on the training grounds, the last place you'd expect to find her, one would automatically assume she was just there to escape work. Spirit King knew the woman was too worried about fun and pampering herself to actually sully her hands with the blood and sweat of training. It'd take one hours of lecturing on end to actually get her to begin any type of self-improvement. There were also those rare moments when she found motivation within herself, but they weren't called her rare moments for no reason.
Shortly after introducing herself, she wasted no time putting the spotlight on the androgynous Shinigami, appearing almost instantly right next to where he was sitting. "Rangiku-nii?", the boy repeated perplexingly. But wasn't that the wrong honorific? Wasn't the proper title for sister 'nee?' The boy examined the blue-eyed woman, inching his head back away from her to get a better look. From his initial point of view, all he got visual of were those massive, round things in her chest.
The word 'girly' got to him. He fought it off once before in less than five minutes ago, but this instance was widely divergent. He was actually being called a girl rather than being referred to as one; a huge difference in his book. "Shimesu...," he answered the woman in an apathetic tone, looking away from her, eyes half-lidded in irritation. She probably had no idea that he was once part of the tenth division. It'd be a surprise to him if anyone did. In his rookie years, if you could consider him past those, he never partook in any special activity the fukutaichou decided to do, despite Hitsugaya-taichou's reluctance toward it. No one understood him, and the biggest thing of all, he looked way too young back then. As if Soul Society had any age requirements anyway. Most Shinigami had two lifetimes under their belt; others a lot more. If rules from the world of the living applied, the boy was legal to do anything he wanted since infancy. He was treated unfairly there, but the past was the past. The boy saw no need to dwell on it for long. He focused his attention on the training dummies ahead of him once again, continuing his practice as the others exchanged words. Extending an arm forward, he focused energy at the tip of his index finger prior to reciting a spirit chant.
"Hadou no Ichi: Shou!"

Once again the character from the eleventh division was quickly dismissed with his rash comments. His attempt at getting under the skin of the androgynous one was futile as the girlish boy had already made up his mind that he was smarter than the man before him. To Saito it was quite amusing watching the two attempt to goad each other into battle only for one to change his mind at the last minute. How annoying that must have felt. Either way it seemed the conversation was soon to be over as the boy dismissed the other shinigami after retorting to Saito's remark and looked to be about to continue whatever training he was doing before, which in this case seemed to be working on kido, definitely kido judging from the messed up doll in the distance from previous attempts at spells.
Saito was more than happy to give the man room, maybe watch him for a bit. After all kido was one thing Saito did need to work on. He focused so much time on Zanjutsu that his control over kido was not up to par. Though technically it was average for one of his level Saito had higher expectations of himself. This potential learning session was banished however as a voice pierced the air and another contestant made their appearance known.
Though the Purple haired shinigami had never formally met the intruder he knew very well of her existence. Her upper body was legendary in probably every sector of Seirietei. Fukutaichou under the genius tenth division commander Toshiro Hitsugaya. Today must have been a lax day for the higher ups or she veto'd her duties for the time being as she had time to join in on what unseated officers called 'fun'. With her entrance the impenetrable guise the androgynous shinigami put up in which nothing bothered him was foiled.
Rangiku-san seemed to have made the same mistake the young shinigami before did. Even more amusing than the fact that she had made the mistake was the fact that this time it really got to the accused shinigami. He almost entirely dismissed the elder, and more experienced shinigami only just barely answering her second question and not even with eye contact. Anyone could see that he was fuming at what just occured and the innocent fukutaichou did not seem to have any idea that anything even happened.
At this point Saito really had nothing to say. He wasn't addressed and simply wanted to see how this all played out. Rangiku-san was sure to say something else to the andgrogynous boy and from there who knew how this would all play out.
