The sound of footsteps echo throughout the town of Karakura. It is currently the evening; there are people moving about town for various reasons. The people work, play, and relax; they have no concern for anything, but the activities that occur at the present time. They are so focused on those activities, that they do not notice the red haired girl, whose feet continue to clatter against the ground.
The girl’s blood-red hair is highlighted by the evening sun and her red eyes can be compared to those of a snake. However, although her eyes resemble a snake’s, she still pulls off a look of near innocents as she walks down the street. She wears a red dress, as red as her hair and her height is about five foot. Now and then she will look into a shop window and any pedestrian would merely accuse her of browsing.
“Help!” Someone called out in the streets. “What Happened?” “How’d it happen!?” “Who did this!?" Were comments that followed the first yell. The girl looked over to their location; unfazed, she gazed at the origin of the screams where a woman was lying on the ground, covered in blood. The red-haired girl clutched the object in her hand. The next she heard, another woman had fallen over. The onlookers could not ascertain who the killer was; they could see no one.
“One more,” the girl said quietly, in a whisper, as she gripped the blade in her hand once more. In an instant, she appeared in the group of people and had severed the throats of three more of the people that gathered. Less than a second later, she was back in the spot she was before the quick movement. She looked over once more to hear the panicking cries of the people that were left alive. ‘They only yell in fear.. where’s the pain!?’ She thought to herself. She was upset that none of her targets were yelling, were screaming, were grabbing at their necks for life. Within the instant of her attacks, they would just drop dead.
“There has to be someone fun to play with!” She stated as she looked up and to her right. Focused on her thoughts, she did not notice where she had been walking. Above her was now a sign, “Tsubakidai Park?” She read with a curious look on her face. A large grin promptly began apparent, followed by a sinister look, “Parks are meant to be fun, right?” She laughed as she walked into the park. She saw numerous kids walking about the area, but before she could start upon her fun, she sensed something.. somethings nearing her location. “Looks like my fun will have to wait a moment.” As she said this, she first frowned that she had to wait, but she began to smile again as she pulled out a dagger. The dagger was normally hidden in her dress; its blade was covered by the blood of hundreds of victims, not one of which was aware how they were killed.
‘I wonder if I can play with these ones.’ She mentally asked herself. ‘Should I go easy on them? Maybe slice them in the back? I wonder if they will scream, or cry. One limb? Two limbs? Maybe all of them? They'll scream more with just one, hm.. I guess that's more fun’ She put on her most innocent looking face and continued to walk through the park. She was walking up a path that cut through the middle of the park. On her left and right sides she saw numerous humans from young, infant ages up to seniors.
