Patrol duty in Karakura Town was a bust, especially around this time. During the day, the only threats that surfaced were lowly Menos, and at night, the same... but with a few more. It was a waste of time having so many Shinigami roam around the same area when all there were were weak, mindless beasts to fend off. Seriously, the only ones that these Hollow were threats to were the humans. If you were to find these beasts hard to deal with, you weren't fit to wear the trademark shihakushou nor sport the title of 'Shinigami.'
But he wasn't one to talk... or was it a 'she?' What appeared to be an ebony female with straight, shoulder length, yellowish-blonde hair strolled into the park, the light rattle of bracelets accompanying her. The female was a Shinigami -- something easily distinguishable by her apparel. She wore the standard black shihakushou with a wakizashi, notably her Zanpakutou, resting on her left hip, and a black choker with a small, golden medallion attached to the front. The long sleeves of the uniform masked the origin of the melodic clinking that now filled the park and gave away the girl's presence to the spiritually aware.
She appeared to proceed without caution, making her way toward a park bench, that a living woman was sitting upon, claiming the seat next to her. The Shinigami's reiatsu was suppressed to levels around that of someone fresh out of the academy, making her appear even more delicate than her exterior did. However, the truth behind the matter was 'she' was really a 'he'. The Shinigami that had strolled into the park was the gender indefinite member of the Kidoushuu, Shimesu, and those who have seen him before would easily be able to distinguish him by putting together his blonde locks, uniform, and relatively low spiritual pressure. One thing he became known for, after learning the ability to do so, was masking his true power -- even though what he had wasn't enough stun anyone but new recruits and weak spiritual beings. The humans, too, but even their strength varied. With all of the happenings that have been taking place in Karakura Town, there was no doubt that the reiatsu lingering in the air had to be tampering with their own, giving birth to more powerful, spiritually-enhanced humans.
The boy peaked out of the left side of his eye at the human female beside him. Reading her book, undisturbed as if she were the only one in the park, she seemed to lack the ability to sense the boy's presence. The reiatsu hadn't taken effect on her, just yet, but one thing Shimesu knew for sure was that she wasn't going to remain a normal human for much longer, or a human, as a whole, for that matter. Nine times out of ten, if the abundance of reiatsu didn't alter the paths of the unlucky inhabitants of this town, then the new demon threats would. Those who lived were either going to be granted spiritual power and forced to defend themselves with their newfound abilities, or turned into demons themselves. Of course Soul Society was going to do something about it, but when they'd handle it was unknown. They knew little of what was going on, and with Aizen still on the loose, things were bound to get sticky quick.
Shimesu looked away from the woman, closing his eyes as he tilted his head forward, shaking his head lightly from side to side with a contemptuous grin dancing on his lips.
What a shame, what a shame...

And now we meet On uneven grounds will we ever see? Eye to eye, is one time to sweet? Please don't look at me like a lost innocent treat.
Treat me like the wild beast you left alone, cold, hungry, and asleep. I don't want a "Sorry" a "Forgive me." I want revenge in cold blood, One that will seep. Seep deep into my pores as I feed. Flesh for flesh, your flesh is for me.
Ravaging your body, your mind is too petite. I don't want your soul it's a taboo for me to eat. Best believe you'll die alone, I plead for it to be. A battlefield on this unsuspecting world, Our first unsuspected meet.
[JinXShimesu, - Ep 1]
Blessed it be those that are unaware of the dangers around them. Being naive is allowing them to leave peacefully. Hollows and the like dance around unnoticeably taking innocent lives will they don't expect it. Or rather that was the case for this unjustified Hollow, Adjuchas. Stepping harshly out of a freshly opened Garganta, the hot headed, savage Adjuchas of Heuco mundo let out a carnivorous roar. It echoed through the park sending a strong gust of wind that blew the swings back and forth, and picked up sand and dirt carrying through the area.
To the spiritually unaware they'd probably just see it as a strong wind the local forecast didn't predict. Though, to those that were, those that knew of the dangers lurking in plain sight for none to see. They'd see it as passionate declaration of mass feeding. A frenzy that could possibly attract not only enemies but also allies, other hollows.
But Jin wasn't the type to share; she liked for her food to be hers. Looking down, eyes white void of iris or pupil Krave had one mindset. To feed on tasty human souls and do it in the most brutal way possible. The crimson hollow descended from the sky keeping a deep growl behind it's lips. Below him a park with a few families and bystanders. Krave would start here, eat all she could and race down to the town square in hopes of finding a nice group of souls to devour. On all fours the red, feline structured hollow slowly stalked it's multiple preys. All of six of her tails were kept down, unable to sway in uncoordinated directions. This would be the start of a process for Krave, hopefully she'd live long enough to see it through.

The feminine male looked up as he felt a Hollow's reiatsu appear right above him. The beast's intense emotion filled the park the moment it tore a rift in the dimensional fabric and entered the world of the living. It seemed pretty pissed, but not like how its species usually was. This one looked like it had an actual purpose. This one was searching for something... or someone.
Shimesu snickered at the human woman's reaction to the effect of the Menos' roar, watching her bundle up in attempt to keep her composure. He rose into a stand, turning toward the Hollow with a childish grin. "I'll be back in a bit, onna," he said, speaking to the woman who, most likely, knew nothing of his existence. "Don't finish the book without me," he continued, giggling to himself. One thing about Shimesu was that he always seemed to find the time to entertain himself - no matter the situation.
He began a slow stride away from the bench his human 'friend' was on, walking in the beasts direction, analyzing it with his brilliant jade orbs. He had to admit, they were a little interesting, the Hollow, when you looked at them on a deeper level. So many different lives, so many different stories filled these beings. They weren't as meaningless as many believed them to be. Each and every soul one ate remained, just on the inside of the beast that devoured them. Like living recycle bins of souls, they were, waiting for a Shinigami's blade to pass through their hide, purifying the one strong enough to keep their individuality. When the boy looked at the Hollow before him, he didn't see a monster void of purpose. Oh no. He saw them as surviving chances he could find that one Hollow, or possibly one that devoured that one Hollow, in hopes of getting to feel the presence of his twin's soul once more. However, this Menos was rather weak, so he'd just kill it off with the ease it took them to kill his sister. It was the least he could do for his deceased sibling, now, being too weak to prevent her death over a century ago. He drew his blade nonchalantly, holding it in a firm grip with his right hand, waiting for the beast to catch his scent.

OOC: Before we start the fight, I'd like to call attention to the external skeleton on the outside of my characters body. Just be aware is all I'm saying. Jin KagurazakaIC: And now it would begin. Jin would viciously slaughter every living creature in this area. She'd do it so savagely that the gallons of blood along the ground would be hidden perfectly amongst the debris and rubble she'd leave behind. But oh ho, a Shinigami. The tempered Hollow couldn't help but take a glance, and with that glance the Hollow would unknowingly begin to unfold a large array of events between the two souls. One, Jin 'Krave' Kagurazaka, savage beast of Hueco Mundo. And the other, Shimesu Kagurazaka, a Shinigami of the Gotei XIII.
But
No more on this topic, Jin was impatient. Krave started to strain, her body twisting and turning in multiple directions. She lifted her claw forcefully planting it atop her head as she tugged hard. The result was not one, but two clones of Krave that were literally ripped from her body. As soon as they were created one eagerly descended onto the ground. It leaped forward at Shimesu arms extended swiping powerful at Shimesu's torso with both her right and left. An intimidating growl blasted from mouth as she neared him. Saliva was thrown her mouth shooting forward past her toward Shimesu and the immediate area around him. Fighting Hollow was no clean job.
The other stood back with the original. It opened it's mouth wide letting the external skeletal jaw to hang low as it charged up a mighty Cero in the center of his mouth. It's intentional target being that very lady sitting on the park bench. She might be unaware of the dangers around her, but the Shinigami wasn't. Krave expected the Shinigami to do everything within his power to save her, even if that meant taking a direct hit from the Cero. It was what most Shinigami did, so heroic, yet so unacknowledged.
The original Krave stood still to the right of his clone in sky. Her eyes were fixated on this Shinigami. She had an eerie feeling about him. Unfortunately for him, not eerie enough to prevent her from carving him into tiny pieces.

The gender indefinite Shinigami kept his slow stride toward the Hollow, stopping only when the beast began a peculiar set of actions, ripping two clones straight from the top of its skull. It seemed that what it lacked in power it made up for in technique. Fighting this one might prove to be more entertaining than all of the rest. Most of them just seemed to growl, snarl, roar, and attack you head on. It didn't bring much fun to the table, especially since most of them weren't strong enough to overpower the petite, androgynous male.
One of the two clones created plunged toward the ground to face Shimesu, jolting in his direction with a powerful dash, thinking nothing of defense as it struck with both of its claws. Right when he had commended it for not choosing this type of assail, the beast had went and done it, showing that despite its appearance, it thought just like that of the average Menos. Reacting quickly, the boy brought his Zanpakutou diagonally across his body, holding it to the left of his face, the base of the hilt in line with the attacking beast, as he timed his jump while citing the release phrase to his blade.
"Sugata o kese, Kyougien!"
He immediately sprung backwards, escaping the claws from the outer bone of the Hollow by a hair. Simultaneously, a bright spear of blue, pink, and green light shot toward the beast's face, impaling its mask and effectively killing it, if successful. Bringing his right arm back to its respectful side of his body, Shimesu stretched his left arm out toward the second clone -- who had began charging up a Cero -- letting one word escape his grinning lips.
"Shinkyou."
In an instant, a nearly invisible wall of transparent reiatsu encircled the last remaining clone, hopefully too focused on its Cero to notice the appearance of the technique. If all went through as planned, once released, the Cero would rebound off of the wall and explode in on itself, destroying the clone as well, leaving behind just one last threat. Conversely, Shimesu didn't attack afterward. He remained planted in the same spot he ceased his jump in, watching the Adjuchas-looking Menos with his luminous, jade orbs. What move would it plan on making next, more clones, or would it come after it himself?

And there, as predicted, the Shinigami fell for it...
Boom!!, The sound of the clone's internal Reiyoku erupting in a violent unstable explosion o' so close to the Shinigami and all his sovereignty.
It was very rare that the words instinct and intellect were synonymously compared. Everyone giving instinct the initial connotation of savage, beastly,... Stupid. But it wasn't always like this. At times a beasts instinct can top a professionals intellect. Instinct was the adaptive component in ones mind that told it the most profitable course of action at any given moment. This insight was always collected from past experiences and the current situation. It was this very asset that creatures have that allows them to unknowingly rekindle past experiences, trials and errors, and outcomes to suit their very needs at the very moment.
Instinct is so heavily looked down upon because in the most primitive of ways it can be predicted, but not in progressed Hollows, at least not Krave. When one finally gives them self up, willingly, to an instinctual way of thinking, and puts down the fight between instinct and cognitive intellect, they are able to true savages. Truly feared.
And that was Jin's goal.
The explosion directly in front of Shimesu would no undoubtedly disrupt if not completely stop his Kido. Because of this the clone's Cero would proceed and break down either the weakened, faulty Kido or proceed as planned unhindered. The Cero would continue on ripping through the sky producing a howling buzz. The Hollow would consume not only the lady but also the park bench all together. It'd impact over that spot for a second and then the clone would tilt it's head up slowly allowing the destructive beam to creating a powerful path of devastation vertically along the park. Agriculture and public property would be destroyed instantly. A low number of humans would be injured and an even fewer number killed. Others would run away in a riled up panic.
The original Jin would continue it's pose at a higher ground than everyone else. It'd looked down at the destruction and let out another mighty bellow of air that would result ring out loud and clear into the surrounding area. Her six tails would wag now more ferociously back and forth at the sight of drawing blood and her landing the first blow on the Shinigami.

To the boy's surprise, as soon as his attack had pierced the clone, it exploded, throwing his ungrounded frame back a little, trails of smoke lifting off of his body as he made the backward motion. Skidding to a stop, if nothing else had taken the appearance of changing on the Shinigami's being, it was his mug. After tanking the rather unexpected assault, the male's brash grin immediately turned into its opposite. He went from joyful to irate, his jade orbs projecting that of the most deadliest killing intent. He loathed moments like these in battle. He had underestimated the Hollow's ability to perceive and battle as he and his kind did, but fortunately for him, it wasn't much of a price to pay. He hadn't taken too much damage from the attack, coming out of the episode largely uninjured, yet still suffered multiple chars along the front of his uniform -- the immediate area caught within the feeble blast. He was lucky the beast was as weak as it was. At about this time, it was too late to disrupt the second clone's Cero as planned, leaving the boy no choice but to compensate with a quickly deliberated 'Plan B,' that'd not only save the living lives that inhabited the park, but his own, as well.
Since he couldn't do it one way, he chose another. "Kiero," he alleged, sending a lightning quick spear of rainbow-esque light toward his adversaries, however, he didn't set his aim on neither of the Hollow, the Cero was his target. Upon the two reiatsu forces colliding, an explosion occurred in the air, midway between the earth and where the two Hollow stood, creating a thick smog of chalky smoke between them and the Shinigami. Ceasing the small moment of opportunity he had while the light gray cloud still masked him from sight, the boy began reciting an incantation.
"Bakudou no Nijuuroku: Kyokko," he uttered, light bending and refracting around his body, cloaking him in a transparent veil of reiatsu; not only rendering the boy completely invisible but also getting rid of his reiatsu trace as a whole. By the time the smoke had lifted enough to see through, Shimesu would already be gone from sight, hidden from the Hollow until he decided to give his position away.

Unfortunately for Shimesu, the assault wasn't over after the explosion of Krave's clone. No, that would be too easy. Krave wasn't the type to give her prey any breathing room. She wasn't into the turn taking battle style of most fighters. No. She fought with pressure and ferocity.
This wouldn't be a Dragonball Z stand off battle.
"Kiero,", Simultaneously, as Shimesu launched his assault on her clone's Cero, Krave had made her way to the right of Shimesu. Using the explosion of her clone as a distraction, Jin took the time to jolt down to Shimesu. At this time she crouched low and took a powerful swipe with her left extremity at Shimesu's legs aiming to rip large amounts of flesh right off his very bone. Her right claw was placed firmly a top of her mask as it ripped quickly across her face. A fluctuate in Reitsu could be felt as Krave was preparing to clone herself once more.
Behind Krave the explosion of the two Reiatsu forces took place, effectively saving the people; but, what about Shimesu? At this very moment Shimesu would feel a draining force sucking the very power and speed from all of his current movements and actions and those he'd soon make. He'd feel slower and less... mobile. Effectively reducing his speed by 2% every .01 seconds which started even before she took her swing.

"Kiero," the boy would say, canceling out the Cero with his attack, but the Hollow hadn't stayed put like he thought it would. Two things tipped him off to the Hollow's sneak attack; one was its reiatsu, and the other seemed to be her own unique talent. Starting when it had got about five yards away from his current position, he felt his actions slowing down as if he were commanding them to a halt. Mentally, he processed the ability, submitting fully to its will until its master had reached her intended destination. Gawking at the Hollow with surprise in his eyes, his jade orbs would briefly meet the white that illuminated beyond the beast's mask before he suddenly vanished.
Appearing fifteen feet behind the original Krave, the boy remained silent, reiatsu still masked to levels lower than the Hollow he was battling. Shunpo was the method used to escape the beasts attack, but it didn't follow the usual 'Point A to Point B' structure that most Shinigami used it in. In the movement that the Hollow couldn't perceive, Shimesu propelled himself backward three feet into the air, diagonally -- just above Krave's crouched body -- before pushing off of a cushion of air, sending him higher and flying in the direction he was in, now, before coming to a halt. He analyzed his movements as he lost a bit of momentum, but nowhere near fast enough to effect his Shunpo efficiently.
The boy's only course of action was 'slowly' backing up. He left it up to the Hollow's senses to figure out where he was instead of attacking when he had the chance. This definitely was no ordinary Hollow. Its abilities intrigued the ebony boy, and was enough to grab his attention to the point of him intentionally breaking them down. As he neared a foot away from the original distance he had ended his Shunpo, he noticed how it took less energy to move normally and at what rate Krave's ability absorbed it. The boy came to a stop seventeen feet away from the Hollow, awaiting its next move.
"Sixteen feet."

"Grrrrrrrrr...." A low growl was sustained as Shimesu not only dodged her attack, but was slowly retreating:"Hrrrrr" A tout murmur escaped her lips as it seemed to calm down. Jin took small steps in advancement toward Shimesu every time he backed up. She intended to keep him within her range, if nothing more but to keep vivid track of his position in retrospect to his own. Her beaming white eyes and mouth hungrily stayed focused on the Shinigami.
Sadly-
Her small, short advancements allowed the Shinigami to escape her maximum effective range of sixteen feet: Sixteen feet. Her eyes cringed down in anger; taking a large leap of two feet forward hopefully bringing Shimesu within her range, the Hollow paused. All advancements were ceased and the Hollow sat back bringing it's front and back legs together. She threw her head back and let out another mighty roar. With it came another surge of her Reiatsu which spread over the area. At that same time her clone that had fired the clone made quick movements toward Shimesu. The way it scurried through the air so beastly and wild one would call it clumsy but in fact it was moving strategically. The Hollow tucked it's front legs as far back as he possibly could while bringing it's hind legs forward, each time lacing the soles of her feet with a thin surface of Reiryoku. The Hollow's feet were slightly off balanced. The front legs were planted higher in the ground while the hind legs caught the air at a lower level; essentially both sets of legs on a different plane. This allowed the Hollow to simulate the effect of jumping off of lower surfaces to elevated ones thus throwing the Hollow forward. As the Hollow approached Shimesu, the hollow placed it's front legs at a higher level and off to the right as if the Hollow were running up a wall. Krave's clone would then proceed to move toward Shimesu in this manner, every advancement put it a step closer and more upside down. Once within five feet of Shimesu the Hollow would be completely upside in the air and would launch it's self at Shimesu, turning it's body upright with it's claws extended aiming to tackle him completely.
All the while in the background the original was outright declaring it's lust for blood and food. Krave's roar began and had no end in sight. With it's head straight up in the air and a beautiful lunar white spiral Reiryoku encasing and highlighting this figure. Krave was most definitely making quite a scene in Karakura park. Maybe to attract said nearby observers?
No.
It was merely how she fought; flashy one could say, and showy if one wanted to go that far. It was probably one of the few things Jin seemed to keep with her conversion to a Hollow.
Dramatics and an all-eyes-on-me self persona.

As Krave hopped forward, Shimesu mirrored her movement, jumping backwards to stay out of her ability's range. He landed on one knee, bowing his head toward the ground to hide his face from the beast. Firmly gripped in his right hand was his Zanpakutō, his left gathering reiatsu as he put his index and middle fingers together. He kept a close feel on both of the beasts' reiatsu as he silently began muttering something to himself. Since this Hollow was interesting enough to avoid the option of the golden-haired Shinigami one-shotting it, he decided to play with it for a while longer until he grew bored.
[yellow]"Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!"[/yellow]
After reciting the incantation, he rose his head, his sights on the clone since the original decided to lounge. He followed its first few hectic jumps, before catching the rhythm and speed of its actions, aiming his left hand at the monster. [yellow]"Bakudō no Kyū: Geki!"[/yellow] The boy exclaimed, springing his attack well before the clone could reach him. It was his first attempt at the particular spell, but he was bound to get it in the first shot because of its simplicity. If he should succeed, the clone's body would illuminate in a light the same color of its skin, paralyzing it completely, throwing a monkey wrench in its plan to escape harm by moving in an uncultivated manner. Shimesu would quickly follow up behind his previous attack, firing off Kyōgien's lightning quick spear of rainbow-esque light at the Hollow's mask, destroying it, leaving behind only one last threat.
The beast reminded him somewhat of his sister, strangely. Its controlling element and flashy tactics reminiscent of the way Jin used to love being the center of attention. It was rather dramatic for such a small one-on-one situation... well, one-on-three, formerly, but the androgynous Shinigami waited observantly for the Adjuchas' next course of action. Would it continue to sit there pumping out reiatsu or was it done fighting for the day?

Indeed it was, done that is.
The clone in mid jump fell prey to Shimesu's Kido. Frozen in mid air and out of panic it begun charging a Cero at the last minute. Though before even able to fully charge the Cero and the clones mask was pierced all in the same. The Cero prematurely erupting and exploding along with the clone. Krave, the original could sit back no more or rather; she lost interest all together.
A Garganta opened up behind her. Krave slowly backed up into the portal to fight another day. The Shinigami had successfully did his job in protecting the innocent.
Kudos Shinigami.
The Garganta would slowly close around her. Krave closed her eyes letting the dark be dark. OOC: First Encounter Completed!!!! Eh... Where are the smilies. ;D[/u]

[white][[You're right. The smilies are missing. D:]][/white]
Shimesu braced himself, prepared for the beast to attack when it did something he hadn't expected. It retreated into the dark abyss of a Garganta, subsequent to its final clone being dispatched, leaving the area without a trace once the dimensional fabrics were diligently patched back together.
[yellow]"What an... interesting creature..."[/yellow]
The boy mused, speaking to himself as he resealed his companion, returning the twenty inch wakizashi blade to the tsuba. The park had been saved, and with minimal damage, but that was nothing out of the ordinary. Shimesu never failed at doing his job, but this time his 'prey' of sorts bit back. Not only that, but it was the first Hollow to have escaped his clutches, also his first encounter with an Adjuchas. Were all Hollow above the Gillian class that crafty? The ebony male shrugged it off, sheathing his Zanpakutō, turning toward the park bench with a wide grin plastered on his features only to wash away a moment later.
[yellow]"Aww, she left."[/yellow]
The park was empty. In the middle of fighting, Shimesu had forgotten that one of the explosions occurred on the ground, and although the average human couldn't perceive what happened beyond the material world, when what they did had an effect on their surroundings, they were forcefully dragged into experiencing it.
And at that, the gender indefinite Shinigami made his way toward the bench, sitting up on the backrest, waiting for another Hollow threat to come within the area. It was a good thing he didn't take much damage or use up a lot of energy. He was on this shift for a little while longer, and who knew how many more Hollow like the last might show up?
